Introduction

ConnectFlow ("we", "our", or "us") provides a business card scanning and networking application (the "Service") available on web and mobile. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use ConnectFlow:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a securely hashed value) when you register.
• Contacts and business cards: names, job titles, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, websites, LinkedIn URLs, notes, and photos of business cards that you scan or enter into the app.
• Company information: company names, industries, addresses, and logos you add while organizing your contacts.
• Digital business card: the profile information and photo you choose to publish on your own shareable digital card.
• Device contacts: with your permission, the app can write scanned business card contacts into your device's native address book. We do not read or upload your existing device contacts to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features: scanning business cards, extracting contact details using AI/OCR, and organizing your contacts and companies.
• To let you create and share a digital business card via a public link or QR code.
• To send follow-up reminders you schedule within the app.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.

We do not use your data for advertising, and ConnectFlow does not currently integrate any advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Business Card Scanning & AI Processing

When you scan a business card, the image is processed using third-party OCR and AI providers (such as Azure Computer Vision and Groq) solely to extract contact details on your behalf. These providers process the image data to return structured text and do not use it for any other purpose.

Public Digital Card

If you set up a digital business card, the information you choose to include (name, job title, company, contact details, and photo) is made publicly accessible to anyone with your card's link or QR code. Only include information you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure and AI-processing providers strictly to operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, OCR/AI text extraction), under confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and contact data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual contacts, companies, or follow-ups at any time from within the app.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (contacts, companies, follow-ups, and your digital card) at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the web app, or by emailing us at info@jumanajimmy.com from your registered email address. Deletion requests are processed promptly and cannot be undone.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure operated by our hosting and database providers. By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in the country or region where our infrastructure is hosted, which may be different from your own country of residence.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can access and edit most of your data directly in the app, or contact us at info@jumanajimmy.com to exercise any of these rights, including under regulations such as the GDPR (EEA/UK users) or the CCPA (California users). We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing and encrypted network transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

ConnectFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
